Short Courses/Leisure Courses at NUI Maynooth
Many people would like to experience university style education but are not interested in (or in a position to undertake) a full accredited program. With this in mind, the Department of Adult and Community Education, NUI Maynooth want to assess the demand for shorter courses. All courses would be suitable for people who have never attended third-level as well as those who have. Course content would also be responsive to the interests of the participants.
The Department of Adult and Community Education runs accredited courses in: Addiction Studies, Adult & Community Education, Community Development & Leadership, Counselling Skills, Creative Writing for Publication, Culture & Society, Directing, Disability Studies, Equality, Family & Community Studies, Local History, People Place & Heritage, Philosophy, Psychology, Race & Ethnic Studies and Sociology.
To help us assess the demand for short courses in these and in other subjects, please complete the online questionnaire at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/S6CMKGL. It is very short and should only take a few minutes.
